Benevolence Ministry

The benevolence committee is committed to servicing the community through food and clothes giveaways, visiting the sick and completing other philantrhopic work.

The overal goal of the Benevelence Committe is to provide assistance to those in need, during times of distress in accordance with the scriptures.

Goals:
- Provide emergency support for members of    the body, when member is in distress.
- Provide food, clothing and other assitance   as appropriate for anyone who comes to the   church for assistance.
- Continue and efficient distribution of food    give away every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the    month.

Planning Resposibilities:
- Respond to all requests for assistance from   members of the congregation and   determine   appropriate level of emergency   to be  provided.
- Maintain the food and clothing pantry in the   church building to provide for the   emergency   needs of members and     
  non-members.
- Establish outreach programs to meet the   needs of those who are less fortunate in our   community.
